Perjanica flote sportske serije brodova Bavaria Yachtbau je Bavaria 42 Sport.

Tradicionalnog je dizajna, s funkcionalnim rješenjima kokpita i interijera i proizvodi se u dvije verzije, otvorenog kokpita i sa sada vrlo popularnim tvrdim krovom s kliznim otvorom. Ovo je vrlo komforna i praktična jahta oslobođena suvišnog i skupog luksuza, što se očituje u vrlo kompetitivnoj cijeni u odnosu na krstaše sličnih dimenzija.

Čvrsti trup velike širine (prilagođen IPS pogonu), pruža vrlo prostran i svijetli interijer s dvije velike spavaće kabine (s vlastitim kupaonama) i dominantnim glavnim salonom s pripadnom kuhinjom. Vlasnička kupaona opremljena je tuš kabinom, obje kabine imaju dvostruke postelje, a stajaća je visina više nego adekvatna. Na palubi, kormilarsko mjesto u kokpitu čini zasebnu cjelinu, sa skiperovim upravljačikm sjedištem i L sofom odakle posada može uživati u panoramskom pogledu. Udobno dvostruko sjedište i pregledno smješteni instumenti omogućuju punu skiperovu koncentraciju prilikom upravljanja. Krmeni dio kokpita izrađenog u mediteranskom stilu sadrži U-sjedište za dnevni boravak, koji se može pretvoriti u prostrano sunčalište. Za oba modela u ponudi su isti motori, standardni benzinski Volvo Penta IPS 400 Duoprop 2x295 KS, te opcijski dizelski Volvo Penta IPS 500 Duoprop 2x352 KS i Volvo Penta IPS 600 Duoprop 2x416 KS.
